Firth of Lorne (For Pleasure x Stakkato) is back in the ring, now with Germany’s Franz-Josef Dahlmann in the saddle. The 11 year old stallion that previously was ridden by Katrin Eckermann has been out since July last year when the two had a horrible fall at the open water jump in the Grand Prix in Aachen. Before the fall Firth of Lorne was on an incredible roll of success, jumping to victory in last year’s Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Hamburg as well as to the top of the podium in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup in Falsterbo.

Firth of Lorne has done two shows with Dahlmann already; first in Hagen in the beginning of May and this weekend in Nörten-Hardenberg – jumping the 1.40 classes.

Dahlmann has also ridden Firth of Lorne before, back in 2011.
