The 10-year-old stallion Giljandro van den Bosrand (Orlando x Clinton I) has a new rider; Czech's Anna Kellnerova.
The couple made their international debut today at the CSI5* event in St. Moritz.
Giljandro van den Bosrand was one of the many horses belonging to Ukraine's Alexander Onischenko that were sold to German horse magnate Paul Schockemöhle earlier this summer. However, it did not take long before the stallion was sold on and got a new rider.
Giljandro van den Bosrand impressed many with Denmark's Andreas Schou in the saddle, and also with Sweden's Henrik von Eckermann who competed him at the Longines FEI World Cup Final in April before the horse went back to Team Ukraine to be ridden by their own Rene Tebbel.
Also Alexander Onischenko’s former rider Calcourt Falklund (Oklund x Dominard) has changed ownership, and is registered on the same company that now owns Giljandro van den Bosrand; Czech Equestrian Team, a.s.
