Henk Nooren will in the future be in charge of the Spanish jumping teams, taking over after Eric van der Vleuten. Nooren has already collaborated with the Spanish Equestrian Federation for the last years, assisting with the different age groups – but now he also takes over the responsibility for the senior team.

Nooren has already presented his 2018 working plan to a group of the Spanish high-level riders, with focus on the Mediterranean Games, FEI Longines Nations Cup Final as well as the World Equestrian Games which will be attended by the Spanish team with the objective of achieving qualification for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
