Like many other indoor events, CSI4* Jumping Indoor Maastricht 2020 has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

A statement from the organisers reads: 

"The organisation of Jumping Indoor Maastricht has, with a very heavy heart, decided that it is not safe to organise JIM, which was planned on 6-8 November 2020 in the MECC in Maastricht. “This difficult decision was made due to the uncertainty regarding the development of the Covid-19 virus. The health, social and financial risks are too big,” according to Ward Vleugels, chairman of the JIM foundation. The FEI Driving World Cup™ qualification will skip one year as well. 

The organisation understands that it is a great disappointment for the (international) equestrian world, the visitors and sponsors. To ease the pain of waiting for the 2021 edition, several surprising alternative activities for different target groups will be set up. These activities will take place at the end of this year and in the first part of 2021 as far as the circumstances concerning the Covid-19 virus allow us to."

The 2021-edition of Jumping Indoor Maastricht is scheduled for 5-7 November.
