USA's Kent Farrington is the new world number one on the latest Longines Rankings, leading the way on 3269 points. Having topped the prestigious list for the last 33 consecutive months, Sweden's double world champion and European team champion Henrik von Eckermann is now down to rank three with his 3026 points, while Great Britain's 2024 Olympic team gold medallist Ben Maher jumps up to sit second on 3064 points between Farrington and von Eckermann.

For Farrington, this marks the second time he is ranked as the world's no. one jumping rider. Farrington first topped the ranking back in May 2017, and kept the title as world no. one for a full year.

Von Eckermann's time at the top of the Longines Rankings has been the longest consecutive period on record. Having held the title as world no. one since August 2022, the Swede also recorded the biggest gap on record in the last 14 years when he in May 2023 topped the ranking 593 points ahead of Julien Epaillard (FRA).

As for this month's ranking, 2024 Olympic champion Christian Kukuk (GER) sits fourth with his 2928 points, followed by the 2023 European champion and 2024 Olympic vice champion Steve Guerdat (SUI) in fifth on 2886 points.

Martin Fuchs (SUI) climbs from rank seven to six this month, while Max Kühner (AUT) drops from six to seven, followed by McLain Ward (USA) who is up from rank ten to eight. Richard Vogel (GER) drops down one spot to sit as no. nine, while Cian O'Connor (IRL) breaks into the Top 10 – completing the prestigious list.

This month's ranking includes validated results from 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2025.
