The 18-year-old Lisa Nooren was awarded as 2015 Rabo Talent of the Year on Saturday. Nooren received the prestigious Dutch award at Jumping Amsterdam, in the presence of Maarten Rosenberg, director at Rabobank Amsterdam, Anky van Grunsven, ambassador of the Rabo Talentenplan as well as KNHS president Theo Ploegmakers.
Nooren jumped into the spotlight last year, winning the CSI5* Grand Prix in La Coruna as well as ending third in the CSI3* Grand Prix in Maastricht. The daughter of Henk Nooren also has medals from the European Championships for ponies, children and juniors as well as becoming Dutch champion both for junior and young riders in 2014.
“A hugely driven and passionate horsewoman with amazing technical riding abilities and performances," praised Dutch Chef d’Equipe Rob Ehrens of one Holland's biggest talents.
