Maikel van der Vleuten is out for the next three weeks after sustaining an injury during Jumping Amsterdam last weekend.
The Dutch world no. seven was unlucky to injure his hand after the last jump in Saturday’s 1.50m class, while riding his horse Salomon, and broke a bone – enough to keep him out of action for a few weeks. Unfortunately, also Salomon sustained an injury during the incident but was well taken care of by the team of vets present at the show.
WoSJ would like to wish both Maikel and Salomon a speedy recovery!
