After winning the CSI3* Grand Prix of Indoor Drachten in January, Marc Houtzager and Sterrehof's Calimero (Quidam de Revel x Libero H) have jumped themselves into the Dutch Olympic squad. The 10-year-old gelding had a series of good results in 2016 as well, with a third place in the CSI5* LGCT Grand Prix of Shanghai and a third place in the CSI3* Grand Prix of Ommen as two of the highlights.
Earlier this year, the Dutch Equestrian Federation announced the 2017 national jumping squads. The A (Olympic) and B-squads had become considerably smaller since last year due to new qualification criteria, but have now been extended with Houtzager and Sterrehof's Calimero.
