The French Equestrian Federation has announced that Nicolas Delmotte’s 11-year-old gelding Ilex VP (Diamant de Semilly x Darco) is out with a tendon injury. 

On their website, the French Equestrian Federation writes that the injury was discovered during a veterinary check carried out the day after La Baule. It is not yet known how long Ilex VP – that with Delmotte is a part of the French national A-team for 2019 – will be unable to compete.

The pair was a part of the French team at last year's World Equestrian Games in Tryon, and also jumped on the French team that ended third at La Baule.
