For his sport performances, Peder Fredricson has today received a Medal of Honour from Sweden’s King Carl XVI Gustaf at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.

Several big Swedish sports personalities were honoured, including the 2017 European Champion that currently ranks 6th in the world. Last year, Fredricson won team silver for Sweden at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon as well as taking several big wins throughout the season including the CSI5* LGCT Grand Prix of Cannes.

“I feel honoured to receive this medal. And, of course it was cool to be at the Royal Palace meeting the King and the Queen,” the sympathetic Swedish rider commented to World of Showjumping.
