Pius Schwizer’s partnership with Quinoa Stables ended abruptly yesterday as the Swiss showjumper announced on his Facebook page that he will part ways with all their horses. It was only in January this year that Schwizer got the ride on Caretina de Joter, Living The Dream, Amira, Dundee vd Dwerse Hagen and Newton de Haut Bois – that until then had been seen under Irish rider Cameron Hanley. Now the horses will have a change of rider again – with Carentina de Joter and Living The Dream going to Stal Tops in the Netherlands and the three latter horses to Swiss rider Morgane Dassio who has been supported by the horses' owners for several years.
On his Facebook page Pius Schwizer states: “I very much regret this. But what can I do, I have to respect the owners decision. My whole season planning was concentrated on these horses. Now I have to count on my young prospects and also try to strengthen again my string of horses.”
