Horse & Hound reports that the 2016 Rio Olympics will be the last championship for Hello Sanctos (Quasimodo vd Molendreef x Nabab de Reve). The now 14-year-old gelding was a part of the British gold winning team at the 2012 Olympic Games in London with Scott Brash in the saddle, and also made history when helping Scott Brash to claim the Rolex Grand Slam of Showjumping last year earning a one million Euro bonus as a result of winning the Rolex Grand Prix competitions in Geneva, Aachen and Spruce Meadowns.
Now, his owners have decided that this year's Olympics will be his final championship appearance for Great Britain.
