The organizing committee of the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, has announced that Saturday March 14 2020 will be the last day of competition at this year's edition of the event. 

A press release from the organizers reads as follows:

"Given the imminent declaration of a state of ‘Alarm’ by the Government of Spain, the Sunshine Tour has decided that tomorrow, Saturday, March 14th, the XXVI edition the Tour will end with the celebration of the Suzuki Grand Prix (CSI3* GP).

Our highest priority at the moment is to guarantee the safety and well-being of all the people involved at the event. Therefore, the sixth and last week of the Circuit is cancelled. We thank riders, owners, judges and officials for their understanding and collaboration.

Since February 12th, for five weeks, more than 2,500 horses have successfully competed in the Dehesa Montenmedio. An unprecedented record in the equestrian world here in Europe and all of this would have been impossible without the support of our sponsors.
