Great Britain's Scott Brash continues 2016 in the same way he left off 2015; on top of the world ranking. This is the third year in a row the British rider opens up as no. one on the Longines Ranking, he was also on top of the list in January 2014 and 2015. The ranking for this month is no. 180 and includes results from 1.1-31.12.2015.
New rank two is France's Simon Delestre, two spots up from December's ranking - while USA's Kent Farrington is one down to rank three. Farrington's compatriot Beezie Madden is up one spot to rank four, while Belgium's Gregory Wathelet jumps two spots up to rank five.
France's Penelope Leprevost falls three spots down to rank six, Ireland's Bertram Allen goes one spot down to rank seven while USA's McLain Ward remains rank eight. Germany's Christian Ahlmann also stays put on rank nine, while his team mates Daniel Deusser and Ludger Beerbaum switch places with Deusser now being rank ten and Beerbaum falling down to rank eleven.
