2015 highlights: This year Ludger won the CSIO5* Grand Prix in Mannheim on Chiara, and the two were double clear in the Nations Cup there as well. Ludger also went to the top in the CSI4* Grand Prix in Münster on Chaman. More recently he was third in the World Cup in Verona, also on Chaman. 

Championship record: Ludger has no less than four Olympic gold medals, five medals from the World Championships not to forget his fourteen medals from the European Championship whereas six have been gold. The German rider also won the World Cup Final back in 1993. 

Top 10 Final record: Winner in 2001 and 2002 with Goldfever and Gladys S.
