The Dutch team for the Tokyo Olympics announced

The Dutch Equestrian Federation has announced which horses and riders will represent the Netherlands at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

The team consists of:

  • Maikel van der Vleuten and Beauville Z (Bustique x Jumpy des Fontaines, breeder Pascal Habets), owned by Marta Ortega and Springstal van der Vleuten. Groom: Lianne Kuijpers.
  • Harrie Smolders and Dolinn N.O.P. (Cardento x Lux Z, breeder J.A.J. Hoppenbrouwers), owned by Evergate Stables LLC and Harrie Smolders. Groom: Tamiles Pezzim. Reserve horse for Harrie Smolders is Bingo du Parc (Mylord Carthago x Diamant de Semilly, breeder Andre Herouart), owned by Copernicus Stables LLC and Harrie Smolders. Groom: Josefin Göransson.
  • Marc Houtzager and Sterrehof’s Dante N.O.P. (Canturano x Phin Phin, breeder J.W.J. Soeter), owned by Stoeterij Sterrehof. Groom: Madeleine Broek.
  • Travelling reserve is Willem Greve and Zypria S N.O.P. (Canturo x Lux Z, breeder Julius-Peter Sinnack), owned by J.P. Sinnack and Willem Greve Sportpaarden BV. Groom: Daniel Gorbing.

Non-travelling reserves are Bart Bles with Kriskras DV (Cooper van de Heffinck x Kashmir van Schuttershof, breeder Stal Devos), owned by SF Equestrian BV, and Kevin Jochems with Turbo Z (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Renville, breeder W. van Stam), owned by Wijnand van Stam.
