Scott Brash has a new talent in his stable, as his loyal supporters Lord and Lady Harris as well Lord and Lady Kirkham have purchased the 8-year-old Shelby 12 (Stolzenberg x For Pleasure) for the British rider.
Shelby 12 has been produced and competed successfully by Townhead Stud-rider Emma Stoker, all the way up to two-star Grand Prix level. This summer, the pair was clear in one of the two-star Grand Prix competitions in Knokke and has picked up plenty of top five placings during the season.
This is not the first horse for Brash that comes from Townhead Stud. Also Hello Annie is originally from the same stable.
“We are so proud to see our superstar Shelby going to the British number one rider Scott Brash, and his wonderful owners Lord and Lady Harris, and Lord and Lady Kirkham. As Shelby is the second horse purchased for Scott coming from the Townhead Stud, we hope Shelby will be as successful as Hello Annie has been for him. Best of luck to them both,” writes Townhead Stud on their website.
