Home hero Pius Schwizer (SUI) took another victory at CSI4* Jumping Logines Crans-Montana, when going to the top in Saturday’s 1.45m world ranking class Prix Crans-Ambassador.
Just like on Thursday, the victory came aboard the 11-year-old gelding Balou Rubin R (Balou du Rouet x Couleur-Rubin) – after beating a jump-off field of no less than 21 riders with three seconds down to his closest challenger.
"Balou Rubin knows the game,” Pius smiled. “The course included some options for short turns which suited us perfectly.”
Aurelia Loser finished second riding Samira 368 (Baloubino 2 x Sirius Son), while Marc Röthlisberger and Cavaluna (Cyrano x Leoni) were third to complete a 100% Swiss podium.
