It was German domination in Saturday's 1.50 class in Münster, that also was the qualification for Sunday's DKB-Riders Tour Grand Prix. Jens Baackmann won the class riding Carmen (Cornet Obolensky x Contender) with a time of 37.39 seconds in the jump-off. Baackmann was followed by four German riders; Andreas Kreuzer and Quick Jumper (Quidam's Rubin x Excudo I), Marcus Ehning with Cordynox (Cornado I x Polydor), Markus Brinkmann with Pikeur Dylon (Diamant de Semilly x Carry) and Patrick Stühlmeyer with Caramba (Clinton x Contender). The top five riders were all double clear.
The first rider to be able to split the Germans was Henrik von Eckermann and Solitär (Salito x Goldfasan) who ended sixth with eight faults in the jump-off. Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and Apsara (Ephebe For Ever x Calido I) followed in seventh place.
As many as six riders had one time penalty from the first round and just missing out on the jump-off including Pieter Clemens and Verdico (Verdi x Capitol I), Angelique Rüsen with Caruso by Cornet Obolensky, Holger Wulschner and BSC Cavity (Caretino x Lansing), Gerrit Nieberg with Casallora (Casall x Lennon), Andreas Knippling with Tannehof's Chacco Chacco (Chacco-Blue x Stakkato) and Kaya Lüthi with Castello (Cristallo x Lifestyle).
