Andalucia Sunshine Tour 2022

Welcome to the magical world of Canadian photograper MacKenzie Clark, who has made a photo special in two parts for World of Showjumping from her three weeks at the Andalucia Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain. Here's the absolutely stunning Asterix de Couleur and Douglas Lindelöw during the first of many magical mornings in the forest at the Sunshine Tour. "This is my favourite shot of Asterix and Douglas from our morning in the forest. I love how the sun hitting the unsettled dust adds a little extra magic to the atmosphere," MacKenzie writes.

Sanne Thijssen and the incredible Con Quidam RB won the first CSI4* Grand Prix of the tour, continuing their top form from 2021.

Many top riders have found their way to the tour, which runs over no less than seven weeks with six weeks of four-star competitions as well as an additional week with two-star classes and also offers a CSI2* pre-tour of two weeks in January. Here Yuri Mansur and Humberto Ask, that finished as runners-up in the CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix in the third week of the tour.
