Riding Quel Filou 13 (Quidam’s Rubin x Cascavelle), Mathieu Billot (FRA) made it a home win in Friday’s CSI4* 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier at Hubside Jumping in St. Tropez.

Nine horse-and-rider combinations delivered a double clear in the class and fastest of them all was Billot, who crossed the finish line in 36.50 seconds. Martin Fuchs (SUI) took the runner-up position after finishing the shortened course in 36.83 seconds together with Stalando 2 (Stakkatol x Lando).

Third and fourth place went to home riders Nicolas Delmotte with Urvoso du Roch (Nervoso x Grand d’Escala) and Max Thirouin with Jewel de Kwakenbeek (Cicero Z x Quidam de Revel), while fifth place went to Portugal’s Luis Sabino Goncalves with Dominka van de Lucashoeve (Cardento 933 x Chin Chin).
