After winning the opening CSI4* 1.50m Prix des Haras at Chantilly Classic 2023 on Wednesday, Brazil's Pedro Veniss continued his winning streak when topping Thursday's CSI4* 1.50m Prix Hubside.
Riding Böckmann's Lord Pezi Junior (Böckmann's Lord Pezi x Quattro 7), Veniss was the fastest in a jump-off between eleven horse-and-rider-combinations – taking the win with a time of 42.15. Juliette Faligot (FRA) and Arqana de Riverland (Cornet Obolensky x Diamant de Semilly) took the runner-up spot in 42.95, while Millie Allen (GBR) and Crazy Daisy 13 (Chacco-Blue x Graf Top) placed third in 43.36, Penelope Leprevost (FRA) and GFE Candy de Nantuel (Luidam x Diamant de Semilly) fourth in 44.11 and Philippe Leoni (FRA) fifth in 45.18 aboard Miss Marie van'T Winnenhof (Edjaz van'T Merelsnest x Toulon).
