Living legend Michel Robert and the 12-year-old KWPN mare Emerette (Diarado x Chellano Z) took their second big win of the weekend at CSI4* Jumping International Bourg-en-Bresse when taking the top honours in Saturday's 1.50m Departement de L'Ain.
Eight of the 71 horse-and-rider combinations in the class made it to the jump-off, where the 72-year-old Robert again was the fastest when stopping the clock at 35.48 seconds. Like on Thursday and Friday, the French riders dominated and filled up the top five: Aymeric de Ponnat and Elize (Bamako de Muze x Nabab de Reve) finished second in 35.84, Roger Yves Bost and Bluemuch des Baleines (Chacco-Blue x Clinton) third in 36.19, Alexis Deroubaix and Bornthis Way Chapelle (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Capitol II) fourth in 36.52 and Delphine Perez and Untouchable Gips (Portofino La Silla x Socrate de Chivre) fifth in 36.90.
