Week three at the Andalucía Sunshine Tour 2026 starts with a Spanish one-two in Thursday’s CSI4* 1.50m Diputación de Cádiz Trophy

Thursday’s CSI4* 1.50m Diputación de Cádiz Trophy at the 2026-edition of Andalucía Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, went to the host nation’s Julio Arias Cueva and the 14-year-old mare Conisha des Forets (Mozart des Hayettes x Dollar de la Pierre).

Stopping the clock on 58.33, the Spanish pair took the win ahead of their compatriots, Kevin Gonzalez De Zarazate Fernandez and Chinixen (Chin Champ x Cartani) in second in 59.49, while Sanne Thijssen (NED) and Os le Petit Cheval (Peppermill x Magic d’Elle) placed third when crossing the finish line in 59.87 seconds. 

Kendra Claricia Brinkop (GER) on Gatsby le Magnific (Action Breaker x Ogano Sitte) followed in fourth with a time of 60.20 seconds, while Niamh McEvoy (IRL) aboard Jargon DN (VDL Zirocco Blue x Indoctro) finished fifth in 62.36.
