Gotha did good and she knows it...

Hi everyone,

It's getting hot in here. Like really, so hot that I chose to hit a low spot and start with that line... Started the day at 6.30 with feeding the ponies and doing all the usual morning chores (mucking out, water, thinking about coffee). After breakfast it was time for some handwalking before Henrik showed up.

Today Gotha jumped the first class, a 1.45 at 9.30 and she did a really nice warm-up round with Saturday's GP in mind. After her I needed to run a little to get our youngster ready for his class. Catover is a 6 year old stallion after Catoki, this is his second international show with us and today it looked like he has already gotten the hang of it, he did a really good clear round. Even if the youngsters cause some headache sometimes, I think watching them is often much funnier than watching the more experienced ones.

We had a quick lunch with Celia and Rolf and then it was time to get Savita ready for  her class. She did the 1.50/1.55 with 2 down - coming out of the ring Henrik already had a plan on what to change for tomorrow to make things better. Maybe it is the sun or maybe my brain got too used to not being used during my holiday, but I had trouble following his quick pace and perfectionism. Can't we like sit down and have a cold drink and THEN make a plan for tomorrow? Nope, we don't stop.

So l hope I got the plans right and tomorrow runs smoothly, and that everyone got their fair share of sunshine today :)

Nanna
