Germany announces team for Tokyo Olympics

The German Equestrian Federation has announced the horses and riders that will represent Germany at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. 

The team consists of:

  • Daniel Deusser and Killer Queen VDM (Eldorado vd Zeshoek x For Pleasure, breeder Dirk and Ann Bruggeman-Carpentier, owner Stephex Stables and Daniel Deusser)
  • Christian Kukuk and Mumbai (Diamant de Semilly x Nabab de Reve, breeder Kurt de Clercq, owner Ludger Beerbaum Stables and Woodland International Sales) 
  • Maurice Tebbel and Don Diarado (Diarado x Lord Lancer, breeder Dirk Lohmann, owner Gerhard and Marion Müter)
  • André Thieme and DSP Chakaria (Chap I x Askari, breeder Martin Jürgens, owner Pferde Management & Marketing GmBh)

The following horses and riders will also join the pre-flight quarantine: Marcus Ehning with Funky Fred and A la Carte NRW, David Will with C-Vier as well as Christian Kukuk's Checker.
