The Belgian Equestrian Federation has announced that Yves Vanderhasselt, who was selected as reserve for the Belgian jumping squad for the Olympic Games in Tokyo together with the 12-year-old mare Jeunesse (Eldorado vd Zeshoek x Quasimodo vd Molendreef), unfortunately has to withdraw from the team due to veterinary reasons.

Vanderhasselt and Jeunesse will be replaced as reserves by Pieter Devos with Claire Z (Clearway x Coronado), who will travel to Tokyo with Niels Bruynseels and Delux van T&L (Toulon x Landetto), Jerome Guery and Quel Homme de Hus (Quidam de Revel x Candillo) as well as Gregory Wathelet and Nevados S (Calvados Z x Romualdo).
