The Belgian team for the Tokyo Olympics announced

The Belgian Equestrian Federation has announced the horses and riders that will represent Belgium at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. 

The team consists of:

  • Niels Bruynseels and Delux van T&L (Toulon x Landetto, breeder Fokkerij van T&L), owned by Suzanne and René Kurmann
  • Jerome Guery and Quel Homme de Hus (Quidam de Revel x Candillo, breeder Dr. Andreas Kosicki), owned by Jerome Guery, Eden Farm and Alexander Oancea
  • Gregory Wathelet and Nevados S (Calvados Z x Romualdo, breeder Szurik Stanislaw), owned by the Nevados Group

The travelling reserve will be Yves Vanderhasselt and Jeunesse (Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Quasimodo vd Molendreef, breeder C.V.B.A. de Manekam), owned by Sportstal Vanderhasselt. 

The Belgian Federation has also announced two non-travelling reserves – Pieter Devos with Claire Z (Clearway Z x Cornado, breeder PGMBH Hammes), owned by Devos Stables and Stal de Leygraaf as well as Olivier Philippaerts with H&M Extra (Berlin x Heartbreaker, breeder G. van de Winkel), owned by Leon Spronken BVBA.
