The Belgian Equestrian Federation has announced the horses and riders that will represent Belgium at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The team consists of:
- Niels Bruynseels and Delux van T&L (Toulon x Landetto, breeder Fokkerij van T&L), owned by Suzanne and René Kurmann
- Jerome Guery and Quel Homme de Hus (Quidam de Revel x Candillo, breeder Dr. Andreas Kosicki), owned by Jerome Guery, Eden Farm and Alexander Oancea
- Gregory Wathelet and Nevados S (Calvados Z x Romualdo, breeder Szurik Stanislaw), owned by the Nevados Group
The travelling reserve will be Yves Vanderhasselt and Jeunesse (Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Quasimodo vd Molendreef, breeder C.V.B.A. de Manekam), owned by Sportstal Vanderhasselt.
The Belgian Federation has also announced two non-travelling reserves – Pieter Devos with Claire Z (Clearway Z x Cornado, breeder PGMBH Hammes), owned by Devos Stables and Stal de Leygraaf as well as Olivier Philippaerts with H&M Extra (Berlin x Heartbreaker, breeder G. van de Winkel), owned by Leon Spronken BVBA.
