At the beginning of the month, Steve Guerdat announced the retirement of his 2016 World Cup Champion Corbinian (Cornet Obolensky x Pilot). 

Following his win at the World Cup Final in Gothenburg, Corbinian was also Crowned Horse of the Year 2016 in Switzerland. During his career, the gelding won the CSI5* Grand Prix in Treffen, the CSIO5* Nations Cup at the Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ and big classes in London, St. Gallen and Samorin – all with Guerdat in the saddle. 

With this photo special, we wish Corbinian a happy retirement and look back at some of the many magic moments in his career.
