Bertram Allen’s 12-year-old Hector van d'Abdijhoeve (Cabrio van de Heffinck x Utrillo van de Heffinck) has been sold, and will in the future be seen under Denis Lynch.
"I'm delighted to welcome Hector to my stable. He is a tremendous addition to our team and a horse I have admired for a number of years. Bertram and Hector enjoyed great success and I am delighted to have secured him from Noel Delahunty and Ballywater Farms. It will take a little time of course for us to get used to each other but I look forward to hopefully enjoying some great days ahead,” Lynch comments to World of Showjumping.
With Allen in the saddle, Hector van d'Abdijhoeve was a part of the Irish team that won team gold at the European Championships in Gothenburg in 2017. The pair also won the CSIO5* Longines Grand Prix of St. Gallen in 2017, and have podium finished from five-star Grand Prix classes in Estoril, Mexico, Paris and Rome to look back at.
