Richard Vogel's Cydello (Cascadello x Forsyth FRH, bred by Christof Schörning) has taken over Henrik von Eckermann's King Edward (Edward 28 x Feo, bred by Wim Impens) on the latest WBFSH Breeder Ranking for jumping horses.
The 10-year-old Hannoverian gelding tops the latest ranking with 1394 points, followed by King Edward in second on 1270 points. Conor Swail's Casturano (Castelan 3 x Canturano, bred by Reimer Detlef Hennings) moves up as well, taking the third spot on the ranking with 1269 points, while Swail's other ride, the 17-year-old Count Me In (Count Grannus x Sherlock Holmes, bred by Friedrich Luessmann) ranks fourth with 1244 points, followed by Daniel Coyle's 14-year-old Zangersheide-mare Legacy (born Chavantele Z, Chippendale Z x Bon Ami, bred by Romain Rotty) as rank five on 1236 points.
On the studbook ranking, Zangersheide jumps to the top on 6650 points with Legacy as its best ambassador followed by Beau de Laubry (Bisquet Balou C x Nabab de Reve, bred by Haras de Laubry) and Dexter Fontenis Z (Diarado x Voltaire, bred by S.C.R.I S.KY Horses) as the two other top ranked horses. With King Edward, Olga van de Kruishoeve (El Torreo de Muze x Nabab de Reve, bred by Eric Polfliet) and Hortensia van de Leeuwerk (Corland x Argentinus, bred by Ronal Joossen) being their top three ambassadors, BWP takes the runner-up spot on 6371 points, followed by Selle Francais in third on 6317 points with Blood Diamond du Pont (Diamant de Semilly x Arpege Pierville, bred by Matthieu Le Connetable), Donatello d'Auge (Jarnac x Hello Pierville, bred by Susana Epaillard) and Dubai du Cedre (Baloubet du Rouet x Diamant de Semilly, bred by Ylvain Pitois and Perrine Cateline) as the French studbook's three best horses.
