Very sadly, Lucia Le Jeune Vizzini and Philippe Le Jeune’s 14-year-old stallion Loro Piana Filou de Muze (Stakkato x Rubens du Ri d'Asse) has passed away. “We are torn apart,” Lucia shares with World of Showjumping. “Filou was one of those guys that could always bring back your good mood when you had a tough day. It would be him to take me in the ring not the other way around. He was family. He was my guy together with Philippe…”
“It’s not easy to talk about. I just lost Vigo – the horse of a lifetime for me – and now Filou,” Philippe says to World of Showjumping. “Both stallions were very much the same way, not the easiest to handle – but as soon as they had a bridle and saddle on they were a dream. While Vigo had to work hard to achieve what he did, Filou had everything. Watching him and Lucia compete was one of the biggest joys I had, and I will miss him too much. There will never be another Filou.”
Loro Piana Filou de Muze had been a part of the Le Jeune-family for a decade, and competed at the highest level of the sport with both Philippe and his wife Lucia. At the beginning of the year, the stallion placed 4th with Lucia in the CSI5* World Cup in Basel as well as 6th in the CSI5* LGCT Grand Prix of Monaco back in June.
Our thoughts go out to Lucia and Philippe, and all those that were close to Filou.
