Henrik von Eckermann and King Edward top the 2024 FEI ranking for horse-and-rider combinations in jumping

Sweden's Henrik von Eckermann and the 15-year-old gelding King Edward (Edward 28 x Feo) top the 2024 FEI ranking for horse-and-rider combinations in jumping with 1780 points. The ranking includes validated results from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024. 

Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) and Beauville Z N.O.P. (Bustique x Jumpy des Fontaines) – who won individual bronze at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris – follow in second with 1516 points, while Karl Cook (USA) and Caracole de La Roque (Zandor Z x Kannan) rank third with 1435 points. Conor Swail (IRL) and Casturano (Castelan 3 x Canturo) sit fourth, followed by Robert Whitaker (GBR) and Vermento (Argento x Skippy II) in fifth.

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) and Zuccero HV (Zirocco Blue VDL x Caretino) are rank number six with 1350 points, while the 2024 Olympic Champions Christian Kukuk (GER) and Checker 47 (Comme Il Faut x Come On) rank seventh ahead of Ben Maher (GBR) and Point Break (Action-Breaker x Balou du Rouet) as rank eight. Daniel Coyle (IRL) and Legacy (Chippendale Z x Bon Ami) are rank nine, followed by Denis Lynch (IRL) and Vistogrand (Fantaland x Mr. Visto) as rank ten.
