Henrik von Eckermann's King Edward (Edward 28 x Feo), bred by Wim Impens, is back on top of the WBFSH Breeder Ranking for jumping horses. The 14-year-old BWP gelding sits first on the third WBFSH ranking of the year with 1270 points, followed by Richard Vogel's Cydello (Cascadello x Forsyth FRH) – bred by Christof Schörning – in second with 1234 points.

Daniel Coyle's 14-year-old Zangersheide-mare Legacy (born Chavantele Z, Chippendale Z x Bon Ami) – bred by Romain Rotty – follows as rank three on 1221 points, while rank four is Conor Swail's Casturano (Castelan 3 x Canturano), whose breeder is listed as unknown, on 1189 points. The 16-year-old Oldenburg-gelding Veneno (born Chagran, Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet) – bred by Gestüt Lewitz and ridden by Graham Gillespie – is rank five on 1173 points.

On the studbook ranking, BWP still leads the way with King Edward, Olga van de Kruishoeve (El Torreo de Muze x Nabab de Reve, bred by Eric Polfliet) and Hortensia van de Leeuwerk (Corland x Argentinus, bred by Ronal Joossen) being their top three ambassadors. This month, Selle Francais takes over the second spot on the WBFSH Studbook Ranking with Blood Diamond du Pont (Diamant de Semilly x Arpege Pierville, bred by Matthieu Le Connetable), Dubai du Cedre (Baloubet du Rouet x Diamant de Semilly, bred by Ylvain Pitois and Perrine Cateline) and Donatello d'Auge (Jarnac x Hello Pierville, bred by Susana Epaillard) as the studbook's three best horses, while Zangersheide drops to third with Legacy as its best ambassador followed by Landon (born Crack de Nyze Z, Comilfo Plus Z x Quadrillo, bred by Danny Nijs) and Dexter Fontenis Z (Diarado x Voltaire, bred by S.C.R.I S.KY Horses) as their two other top ranked horses.

The latest WBFSH Rankings included validated FEI results from October 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.
