After winning Thursday's 1.40m class at the Sunshine Tour, Mariano Martinez Bastida (ESP) continued with taking a second win of the day – in the CSI2* 1.45m class – riding Cleartoon (Carthago x Voltaire).

Only 0.24 seconds after followed Eduardo Alvarez Aznar (ESP) and F (Bustique x Krunch de Breve), which gave them the runner-up position. Pedro Veniss (BRA) was the only foreign rider that made it into the top seven, when he took the third place riding Balada de Colores (Baloubet du Rouet x Couleur-Rubin). Fourth and fifth place went to the Spanish riders Laura Roquet Puignero with Sandi Puigroq (Diamant de Semilly x unknown) and Kevin Gonzalez de Zarate with Daino LP (Conquistador x unknown).
