Pius Schwizer is on a roll in Basel, and took his second victory in two days – this time riding the 10-year-old Balou Rubin R (Balou du Rouet x Couleur-Rubin).

With an incredible 22 riders in the jump-off, it was bound to be a race where the Swiss rider proved to be the best stopping the clock at 44.54 seconds. Belgium's Niels Bruynseels followed behind on a time of 44.92 seconds with Angel van't Hof (Chin Chin x Nabab de Reve), while third place went to Werner Muff who secured another Swiss podium position with HH Fleur (Darco x Bon Am) in 45.24 seconds.

Earlier in the day, it was also Swiss festivities as Philipp Züger won the 1.45m speed class Prize of Dach+Holztech GmbH on Lykkeshoejs Castus (Casir Ask x Carano). Second place went to Pius Schwizer on Leonard de la Ferme CH (Landjuweel x Indigene de Corday), winners of Friday's Prize of Grosspeter Nutzfahrzeuge AG. Italy's Luca Maria Moneta ended third on Neptune Brecourt (Cumano x Kayack).
