After winning Thursday's CSI4* 1.50m Prix France Etalons at the 2023-edition of Jumping international de Saint-Lô, Julien Anquetin (FRA) and Blood Diamond du Pont (Diamant de Semilly x Arpege Pierreville, bred by Matthieu Le Connetable) continued their winning form on Sunday – topping the CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix du Département de la Manche.
With a time of 38.51, Anquetin and his 12-year-old Blood Diamond du Pont took the win ahead of Francois Xavier Boudant (FRA) and Brazyl du Mezel (Haloubet de Gorze x Apache d'Adriers, bred by Lucien Hecht) in second in 40.80.
Harry Allen (IRL) and Calculatus (Cachassini x Contello, bred by Rudolf Spiekermann) placed third, while Robin Muhr (ISR) and Mylo van Klapscheut (Adorado x Radco d'Houtveld, bred by Mivaro BVBA) finished fourth. With four faults in the jump-off, Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Donatello d'Auge (Jarnac x Hello Pierville, bred by Susana Epaillard) took the fifth place.
