Switzerland's Pius Schwizer and the 14-year-old stallion Vancouver de Lanlore (Toulon x Le Tot de Semilly) won Sunday's CSI4* 1.55m Al Shira'aa Grand Prix in Montefalco, Italy.
With a time of 40.73, Schwizer was the quickest in a jump-off between ten horse-and-rider-combinations and took the win ahead of Ireland's Richard Howley and the 11-year-old Consulent de Prelet Z (Consulent Z x Fuego du Prelet) in second in 40.83. Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) and Chalou (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet) took the third place in 40.92, while Martin Fuchs (SUI) and Commissar Pezi (Commissario x Böckmann’s Lord Pezi) finished fourth in 40.98 and Emanuele Camilli (ITA) fifth in 43.16 aboard Odense Odeveld (Diamant de Semilly x Querlybet Hero).
