Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano and the 13-year-old Chalou (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet) won Saturday's CSI5* 1.50m jump-off class presented by Hubside Store at Hubside Jumping Grimaud in St. Tropez, France.

Twelve horse-and-rider-combinations from the 36 at start cleared the first round track. In the jump-off, Gaudiano crossed the finish line in 38.91 seconds, taking home the win. "Today, Chalou was particularly fast in the jump-off," Gaudiano said in a press release from Hubside Jumping. "We had to give everything, since we knew that there were eleven other couples behind us, all very ambitious riders and also very fast horses. I think I was one of the few to have attempted eight strides between fence one and two, which was possible thanks to Chalou. I also think I saved time on the last two jump. It was in any case a great jump-off."

Simon Delestre (FRA) on I Amelusina R 51 (Dexter R x Chin Chin) took the runner-up position when the clock stopped on 39.57 for the former French world number one. Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and Simolo de La Roque Z (Spartacus TN x Casall) continued their great form, taking the third place, while the fourth place went to Penelope Leprevost (FRA) on Texas (Tornesch 1042 x Robin Z) and fifth to Steve Guerdat (SUI) on Is-Minka (Mylord Carthago x Flyinge Quite Easy 958).
