Saturday's 1,55 m 'Münster Masters' at the CSI4* event in Münster was won by home rider Johannes Ehning with Appearance (Armitage x Levantos I). The class counted only 14 riders, and no clear rounds - making Ehning the winner with a fast four-fault round. Gerrit Nieberg on Christdorn (Contendro I x Gluecksstern) came second while Frank Schuttert ended third riding Clarinius (Clearway x Cor de la Bryere).
Earlier in the day home rider Ludger Beerbaum won the qualification for Sunday's DKB-Riders Tour Grand Prix with the 16 year old Chaman (Baloubet du Rouet x I Love You). Beerbaum was the fastest one of the two double clear riders - pushing Netherland's Leopold van Asten and VDL Groep Beauty (For Pleasure x Contender) down to second.
Germany's Jan Wernke was the fastest rider with Queen Mary (Contendro I x Caretino), but with four faults he had to settle for third place.
