King of Queens

What a royal opening! Presenting "His Majesty"!

This 7-year-old stallion perfectly unites the attributes of elegance, intelligence, positive attitude, jumping ability and spectacular movement. King of Queens is a powerfully built horse with a strong competition track record. He’s also an easy ride with an impeccable character that impresses both rider and onlookers with his jumping qualities. Sired by Argentinus, this handsome stallion combines modern type with athletic build and incredible presence.

Like most royals, King of Queens is used to being in the spotlight and this 7-year-old show jumper has already won 1.40m classes and been placed in 1.45m classes. King of Queens has competed successfully in international youngster tour classes up to 1.40m and is ready to go out on the international circuit.

This aristocratic-looking stallion obviously has a blue-blooded pedigree. His sire Argentinus, one of the stalwarts of the Hanoverian show jumping horse breeding scene, produced world-class offspring. He was also a top show jumping stallion with classic Hanoverian performance genes and he’s always passed on his outstanding qualities to his progeny. In fact, there hasn’t been any single season over the past 18 years without an Argentinus offspring competing in Nations Cups, World Equestrian Games, Europeans or Olympic Games. Some of the notable horses sired by Argentinus include All Star (Denis Lynch), Arko III (Nick Skelton), Anka (Marcus Ehning), Adlantus As (Lars Nieberg), Aquarell PW (Joachim Heyer) and Asti Spumante (Thomas Mühlbauer).

The dam’s sire Indoctro has some of the very best Holstein performance horse blood in his pedigree from Caletto and Calypso I, and he’s in international demand as a breeding stallion. It’s rare to find stallions like Indoctro I, which are successful both as breeding and competition horses. He continues producing top-quality horses year after year. Vedor, Casadora, VDL Orestus, Don Porfirio and Nike competed at Olympic Games, while Valentino Velvet (Aleksandr Onyshenko), Indigo (Margie Goldstein- Engle), Vedor (Julia Hargreaves) and Hello M’Lady (Scott Brash) are all great Grand Prix horses.
