Sunday at Saut Hermès 2022 in Paris started with an Italian victory, with Emanuele Gaudiano on Carlotta 232 (Chaccomo x Cento) taking the top honours in the CSI5* 1.50m Prix de la Ville de Paris. 

With a time of 29.56 in the second phase, the Italian ruined a French party at the very end of the class, after the top three had been dominated by Mathieu Billot (FRA) on H (Indoctro x Emilion), Gregory Cottard (FRA) on Cocaine du Val (Mylord Carthago x Si Tu Viens) and Julien Anquetin (FRA) on Z Ice Cube Z (Zacharov TN x Casco). Eventually, Billot had to settle for the runner-up position, while Cottard placed third and Anquetin fourth. John Whitaker (GBR) on Sharid (Toulon x Vancouleurs) finished fifth.
