David Will has announced the sale of the 14-year-old gelding C Vier 2 (Cardento x Concorde), that he has competed successfully since July 2020.

Will has had several top results with C Vier 2, recently finishing 6th at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Final in Leipzig – where the pair was double clear on the last day. Last summer, the two were part of the German team that took the silver medal at the Longines FEI Jumping European Championships in Riesenbeck, where they also finished 7th individually. During 2021, the two won the CSIO5* Rolex Grand Prix of Rome, topped the first leg of the Longines FEI Jumping European Championships in Riesenbeck, and finished second in the CSI5* Longines FEI World Cup of Madrid.

On his social media channels, Will shared the following statement:

“Today is a very sad day in Dagobertshausen as we’re saying goodbye to C Vier who has been sold and has left our yard. Nevertheless I’m extremely thankful to Family Rijkens for giving me the chance to ride this fantastic horse for 1,5 years and for the many victories we were able to celebrate together.

Thanks also to the whole team for putting in so much effort and extra hours to take such good care of C Vier. We wish him and his new rider all the best for the future.”
