Beautiful morning after a stormy night...
Hello hello,
We had a bit of a thunderstorm here last night so coming into the stables in the morning I was a little worried about Gotha maybe being traumatised of all the noise, but she seemed fine - only very hungry and sure of the room service being late...
Our youngster was the first to jump today and I must say the more I see him jump the more I like him. He did a good clear round again and ended up 5th. After his class Henrik rode Savita and Gotha, Gotha is not jumping today. Today there was plenty of time between classes, so could have lunch in peace. Or maybe peace is a wrong word for it, as Celia was sitting next to Esmar (Doda's groom) and them two together is one endless circle of pranks. I think we spent more time laughing than eating.
Savita jumped the 150 class now in the afternoon and the plan that I had trouble wrapping my brain around yesterday seemed to work, she jumped clear. Sadly in the jump-off she had the last fence down. Scott won... with having him around, seems like the rest of us can be happy about the creative GCT team organising some competitions on the side of the jumping too, like bandage rolling, so we don't completely forget how winning feels like.
Now I need to tidy up here and finish the horses, tomorrow it is GP time. Last year we had both Ludger and Henrik on the podium here, let's hope we have some luck on our side tomorrow too :)
