This week, the action at Al Shaqab in Doha, Qatar, continues with the third week of H.H. The Father Amir's Prix.
The action at Al Shaqab got underway on Thursday, with Abdullah Alsharbatly (KSA) and Böckmann’s Lord Pezi Junior (Böckmann’s Lord Pezi x Quattro 7) taking the top honours in the CSI5* 1.50m class, a competition counting for the Longines Rankings Group C.
With a time of 64.45, Sharbatly bested a field of 33 horse-and-rider combinations, taking the win ahead of Roberto Previtali (ITA) and I’M Special Mess PS (I’M Special de Muze x Messenger) in second in 66.99.
Max Kühner (AUT) on EIC Cooley Jump The Q (Pacino x Obos Quality 004) completed the podium, taking the third spot when crossing the finish line 67.46, while Abdel Saïd (BEL) on Wathnan Calvaro (Cascadello x Quidam de Revel) followed in fourth with a time of 68.15. Megane Moissonnier (FRA) with Qoup de Coeur de Muze (Mosito van het Hellehof x Jalisco B) finished fifth in 68.67.
