Faleh Suwead Al Ajami (QAT) on Wathnan Qapella (Toulon x Kannan) took a popular home win in Friday’s CSI5* 1.55m jump-off class – a competition counting for the Longines Rankings Group B – at the Al Shaqab Equestrian Centre in Doha, Qatar, as the Qatar Equestrian Federation Cup 2026 continued.

No double clears were delivered in the competition with 16 horse-and-rider combinations at start. As the fastest four-faulter in the jump-off of four, Al Ajami took the win ahead of Sergio Neuppmann Junior (BRA) aboard Corina Blue in second, while Santiago Lambre (BRA) on Zeusz (Cartogan x Chacco-Blue) completed the podium in third.

“Things came together well for me,” Al Ajami said in a press release from Doha Equestrian Tour. “I managed to produce a clear round in the first round, and in the jump-off I tried to put pressure on the riders who came after me. In the end, it worked out well and I was able to take first place.”
