Kristen Vanderveen (USA) and the 12-year-old gelding Bull Run’s Jireh (Uriko x Colman) won Friday’s CSI5* 1.55m jump-off class – a competition counting for the Longines Rankings Group A – at Al Shaqab in Doha, Qatar, where the fourth and final week of the H.H. The Father Amir's Prix – a part of the Doha Equestrian Tour 2026 – continues.
With a time of 40.14 in a jump-off of twelve horse-and-rider combinations, the American duo bested a field of 29, taking the win ahead of Nadja Peter Steiner (SUI) and Clearround Il Mondo (Comme Il Faut x Clearway) in second in 40.53.
Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) and Charly Heart (Cornet Obolensky x Heart-Ache BS) completed the podium in third when stopping the clock on 41.02, while Janne F. Meyer-Zimmermann (GER) on My Lady Lavista (Mylord Carthago x Levisto) and Harry Charles (GBR) aboard Fighting Phil (Cornet Obolensky x Contender) followed in fourth and with with times of 42.08 and 42.30 respectively.
The second CSI5* ranking class, a 1.45m counting for the Longines Rankings Group D, went to Germany’s Philipp Weishaupt and Karaldo (Harley x Chin Chin). Crossing the finish line in 59.87, Weishaupt took the top honours, followed by Abdullah Alsharbatly (KSA) on Valentino (Diamantino x Careful 28) in second with a time of 62.33 and Eve Jobs (USA) aboard Kannandillo (Kannan x Candillo 3) in third in 62.44.
