Max Kühner and EIC Quantum Robin V with Friday’s biggest win in Doha

Austria’s Max Kühner and the 13-year-old gelding EIC Quantum Robin V (Carambole x Stakkato) won Friday’s CSI5* 1.55m, a competition counting for the Longines Rankings Group B, in Doha, Qatar, where the second week of H.H. The Father Amir's Prix takes place this week as part of the Doha Equestrian Tour 2026.

Delivering a clear round in a time of 41.42 in a jump-off between ten horse-and-rider combinations, Kühner and EIC Quantum Robin V bested a field of 28 participating pairs. Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (GER) and Cellagon Cascais (Colestus x Carrico) had to settle for the runner-up spot when the clock stopped on 41.53, while Neal Fearon (IRL) aboard Derryglen Obsidian (Kafka vd Heffinck x Clinton) completed the podium in third in 42.56.

Nadja Peter Steiner (SUI) and Mila (Monte Bellini x Linton) finished fourth with a time of 42.75, while a double clear in 43.79 left Gerfried Puck (AUT) and Equitron Naxcel V (Balou du Rouet x Landetto) fifth.

The second five-star ranking class of the day, a CSI5* 1.45m counting for the Longines Rankings Group D, went to Millie Allen (GBR) and Quick Diamant HR (Diamant de Semilly x Quidam de Revel). Crossing the finish line in 59.58, Allen took the win ahead of Eve Jobs (USA) and Kannandillo (Kannan x Candillo 3) in second with a time of 59.68, while Caroline Rehoff Pedersen (DEN) aboard Chaccball (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet) placed third in 61.19.
